We need to keep Houston blue and lay the groundwork for 2020–we can’t wait until next fall! Early voting starts October 21–right around the corner! The ballot includes municipal elections, Texas constitutional amendments, MetroNext, and a special election for HD148 to replace our longtime Democratic state rep, Jessica Farrar, who has retired.

Saturday, October 19, 10-11:30am: October meeting. We will continue to write GOTV postcards (we should be back in the basement with tables and not in the sanctuary!!). We will also have officer elections for the 2020 calendar year. Heights Christian Church, 1703 Heights Blvd., in the basement fellowship hall (go through the playground and look for stairs down on the left).
