April Meeting and Blockwalks

April Meeting–April 21

Our meeting will be April 21 at 10am at the Harris County Democratic Party Office, 1445 N. Loop West. Our speaker is Prof. Max Beauregard, who will discuss the results of the 2018 primary, particularly the turnout and other data available on the Greater Heights area. We want to see which areas need work! Max has developed maps that give a great picture of the results.

Do you have a friend or neighbor in the Greater Heights who might be interested? Invite that person and bring them along!

Blockwalking!
Did you know that volunteers knocked about 5.5 million doors to get to victory in Virginia? We have work to do! Come out and meet your neighbors and talk to them about the upcoming primary runoff. We will be blockwalking on Monday, April 23 from 5:30-7:30 (meet at 919 Columbia) and Saturday, April 28 from 9am-noon(meeting place TBD). After the Saturday blockwalk, we’ll meet up for lunch. Dues and Fundraising
Have you paid your dues for 2018? Dues are $20 for an individual, $35 for a family, and $10 for seniors and students. You can pay online here or by check or cash at our meetings. We also have a goal to raise $2500 to fund flyers for blockwalking/GOTV efforts, future mailings, donations to HCDP, and other activities all aimed at TURNING TEXAS BLUE! If you can contribute more than the annual dues amount, please help us reach our goal.
